✨2026: A Long Farewell✨
Hello friends, supporters, and kind strangers,
My name is Chelsea, and for the past five years I’ve been the heart and hands behind Hedgewitch Hall, Mainstream Mercantile, and Kentucky Noir — three little creative brands built out of love, late nights, and a belief that handmade things still matter. I've poured myself into the creation of magical teas, nostalgic posters, roller ball perfumes, candles, art prints — tiny pieces of comfort and joy that helped people feel seen. And for a long time, creating that magic helped me stay afloat too.
But today, instead of preparing for a new year of creativity and growth, I am preparing to close all of it. I worked for months to sell the entire business so I could step away safely. That sale fell through at the finish line, and now I’ve run out of time. I'm doing everything I can on my own, but without help, I won’t be able to close the business cleanly — and my personal life cannot absorb what’s left.
If you are able, I've set up a GoFundMe to help close the business correctly. Every donation goes toward:
✔ Paying off remaining business debt
✔ Covering final show expenses (through March)
✔ Shipping and fulfilling final promised items
I never imagined needing a fundraiser. I've always tried to be the one giving, making, creating, and showing up for other people. But right now, I cannot get through this alone.
Whether you’ve been with us since the first cup of tea we ever sold… or whether this fundraiser is your very first introduction to us… Thank you for being here.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. Thank you for helping me get through something incredibly hard. Thank you for giving me a chance to breathe again. Thank you for choosing kindness. Thank you for helping me close with dignity.
We will be selling tea until there's is nothing left. Hopefully, we will stay connected even after that. Don't forget, even when times are hard, to stop and savor the magic.
❤️ Chelsea
